Above It All

There once was a popular song called “Still I Rise” by Yolanda Adams.  One of the lines is ‘never giving up, never giving in’.   But in today’s society, we hear the term, rose to prominence.  This means someone who may have been unknown, is now known to a large portion of the population in their area.  Jesus rose from the dead and disciples were told ‘He is not here, He is risen.’  Just to break it down, rise means to get up.  When you get up you will be above it all.

The reconstruction of your life is taking place. You are being rebuilt and reassembled. It is an uncomfortable process. It has to take place in order for you to move up and go higher in the Lord. You cannot stay in the same or go back to the old way because you have to rise up and take your proper position.

Whatever has brought you low, You can rise above it all

Whatever is trying to bring you down, You can rise above it all

Whatever is trying to keep you descended, You can rise above it all

No need to grasp for things that keep you sunken

Search for the One that makes you complete

Rise up and give Him praise

For in the coming days

You will rise after feeling fallen

You will rise when you enter your calling

You will rise once you’ve been obedient to God

You will rise once the scripture is applied

You will rise!
