Book Review: Something Good

These are my thoughts on the book “Something Good” by Vanessa Miller

This book is a christian fiction novel. It has 319 pages and is a well written, relatable book. One of the things I learned from this book is to ask God for something good from Him. Inspirational writing is something I love. Throughout the writing, you will want more and more! She uses modern language and scenarios that are pervasive in today’s society. If you love to read, then this book is for you fellow Christian!

Issues included in her fiction book include:

  1. Marriage

  2. Imposter Syndrome

  3. Homelessness

This book is filled with encouragement and has a storyline that is hard to forget. It is a book you could reread and learn something new. It is not riddled with religion and has a picturesque life experience for the characters. The main biblical theme that is my take away is forgiveness. It is a redemption driven storyline. I will not include any spoilers here.

Genre: Contemporary Christian Fiction

This book is available where other books are sold. Her offering in the book “Something Good” is a refreshing, realistic and relatable story. It tackles issues and contains a redemption theme for the characters who are dealing with the issues of life.
