TRUST IN THE LORD

Trusting in the Lord is a product of our faith and confidence. We believe that God is the God of the Word. We use the truth of the word of God and apply that to our situations. We hear sermons about trusting the Lord, having confidence in God, and believing in the Lord. At times though, many people still find it difficult to trust God to do work in our lives, our situations, and other things that require a miracle-working power.

Confidence means faith or belief that one will act in a right, proper, or effective way. Do you believe God will act in a way that with be effective for you? If you do not, then you do not have confidence in Him. The woman who asked Jesus to heal her daughter had obvious confidence in him. She sought him as an effective means of healing. Even the smallest leftover from Jesus the son of God is greater than what a human can offer.

Do we feel that touch or a word is enough when we think of healing? The Syrophoenician woman’s daughter was not present. Her belief in the word of the Lord got her daughter healed. Sometimes our circumstances can be used as a setup for the supernatural act of God to happen for us. The inspiration in this scripture is big!

Are you bold when you ask God for things? We can go boldly to the throne of grace.

Remember this:

  • Go to God boldly with your cares and concerns

  • Have faith to believe He can do it

  • Don’t doubt His ability or speak against what you are praying for

  • Feed your faith with God’s word

  • Get in a place of praise and thank God for His answer

  • Remember all of the goodness of the Lord in your life presently

  • Remember God does not change

What is Faith?

Hebrews 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
