Focus

Does God have your focus? Whatever has the majority of your attention is what you are focusing on. The thing that you ponder, contemplate or think about the most is at the center of your attention. What has captured your attention?

Whatever has captivated you can cause a manifestation in your life. I get it, there are a lot of things that cause a change in your focus or shift your attention to them. Just think about a time when you were on your way somewhere, possibly in a hurry and there is an accident delaying your arrival to an appointment. There could have been a time when you needed to do something and another event took your attention so you participated in the less than necessary option.

Our focus is important. Sometimes we focus on people, places and things leading to loss of focus. You can focus on a thing for so long that it causes problems in your life. In the bible, the book of Philippians has a scripture that tells us what we should think about. In the book of Colossians we are told what to set our affections on. We do not want blurry vision do we? Believe me I know this because in the natural I need to wear glasses to correct my vision.

Our goal is to have focused faith in God. Faith in God can help lead to clear vision. Don’t quit or stray from the path you are on now! Your focused faith will get you to the destination you are trying to reach. It can take you to a higher place in Christ.

Which will you choose?

  1. Focused faith and clear vision

2. Doubting God and Blurry vision

Scripture: Hebrews 12:2
