Make the Adjustment
Do you remember a time when you had to adjust? I know I do. Sometimes it is uncomfortable to shift and switch gears. But, it is necessary in some seasons. We have to change for the better and continue to grow in grace. There are some new things coming our way and we have to make the adjustment in order to be prepared to receive them.
Keep God First!
Let God be at the forefront of everything that you do. Obey His instructions, He will not fail you. Your obedience is a key component to your success. Sometimes we do not like instructions but God has our best interest at heart. He is the one you can trust all of the time because God will not steer you wrong.
Adjust
Adjust: to change something slightly so that it is more suitable for a new set of conditions.
If things around you change, for example your place of employment changes or updates something, you have to make an adjustment. Doing things the old way all of the time will not help you if it affects your work performance or productivity.
Move forward
There are things ahead of you that are waiting for your arrival. If we continue to contemplate, complain and be complacent our perspectives become fuzzy. If it is time to move, move forward. Hesitation is not your friend.
Forget the past
Don’t allow the things in the past to hinder you. Press forward, onward and upward. Pondering old things causes you to lose your excitement for the new things that are ahead of you.
Keep your mind on godly things
We have to be careful about what we think about, what we watch and what we read. Even some of the people we interact with may have a negative influence on you and how you think. Set time to pick up the Bible and memorize a scripture of the day to think about. Research the scripture and words in the scriptures too!
