Other Things

Remember a childhood story with Thing 1 and Thing 2? We read the stories but did not know what they represented. I did a little research and found out that they caused trouble or mischief. Things can be good as well, based on the scriptures. Psalm 84:11 says this to be exact. Look it up, it will encourage you!

Other things in the New Testament is referring to pragma. The things that we believe we are to have whether it pertains to business, work a matter or an affair are something that we would like to have isn’t it? Well remember, nothing is impossible with God and with God all things are possible. But there is a pre-requisite of obedience to receive anything in Christ. Things do not just fall into our laps.

Let the things that you are looking for be different than the world. God knows what we need and what those things are. He is the supplier of them. He has not forgotten the most needed thing in your life. Allow Him to be the God of all creation in your life.

DEFINITIONS:

Pragma: (Greek definition): a deed; by implication, an affair; by extension; business, matter, thing, work.

Thing: an object that one cannot, need not or does not wish to give a name to.

What ‘thing’ are you looking for?

Scripture Reference: Matthew 6:33, Psalm 84:11
