Now is the Time
What time is it? I remember people who did not wear watches or carry cell phones asking me this question all of the time. If you do not know what time it is, there is a limitation on your time. You may feel rushed to accomplish things because you did not keep track of the time. You may miss out on things because you did not use your time wisely. Whatever the case, time management and not losing track of time can be a plus in anyone’s life.
Time in the Greek language is chronos and kairos. These terms are good for the context of usage in these short paragraphs. Chronos, looks like chronology and chronicles the book in the bible. In the scripture references for this passage, kairos is the greek meaning. Kairos defined is the appointed time. So, now is the time. It is appointed and in the will of God.
So we often pay attention to our time pieces in order to track the time during our days and lives. But have you paid attention to whether or not the time is appointed? Is this a God-ordained time for you? Is it a kairos moment? Don’t let chronology keep your focus. Do not let time frames make you think that because of it the thing that you have been waiting on will not arrive. It is time!
It’s time to reap what you have sown
It’s time to walk in abundance
It’s time to receive the blessing
It’s time to believe God’s promises
It’s time to be who God called you to be
It’s time to walk circumspectly
Scripture References: Ephesians 5:16-18, Colossians 4:5.
