How often have you wished that during your experience you would hear, ‘this is only a test’?   Well recently I know everyone has been experiencing something.  But we can study for the tests that we do face when we read the word of God.  We have an answer key in the Bible!  (Can you tell I am very excited?)

TESTS

I remember when I experienced something that was very trying.  It took a while for me to realize that it was a test.  So when I figured it out, I realized that I needed to study the Bible and dig in to the scriptures to flood my mind with promises of God.  I chose a morning song and scriptures to memorize to feed my spirit. I had no idea how much it would help me with endurance in times of trouble later on in life. 

Remember the story of Joseph? I will not go into it here, but take a look at his story in the book of Genesis (Read Genesis 37-50). Joseph’s life changed and it included events that did not seem to help him at all. But with those events came a very significant testimony. It was laced with tests and times that he had to hold on to his faith in God. The wisdom gained from his walk with God influenced leaders and nations!

Sometimes we feel that our life stories are insignificant. But there is a victory that has been experienced when we came out of the trial, tribulation and passed the test. When we believe God in times of testing, it can become a testimony. It helps if we trust Him before the tests during the time we are prepared.

TESTIMONY

Times and seasons come upon us that seem unbearable but we have to trust in the Lord. In our testimonies, we share how good God has been to us. When we take account of our lives there are memories of times when God brought us out. Each of us has a story within a story that can be shared to encourage someone. We can testify and talk about the great things He has done for us.

A testimony can plant something in the life of someone. It can help someone be set free and walk in truth. It may be something that they needed to hear. A word of encouragement is within all of us!
