Tribulations
Godffirmation:
Godly affirmation and godly confirmation based on the scriptures
And not only so, but we glory in tribulation also:
Knowing that tribulation worketh patience
Romans 5:3
Sometimes in scripture we are exhorted to do things that seem difficult. Begin to have hope for the future and allow God to be glorified. Remember, in Jeremiah the word says he has ‘thoughts of a future and a hope’. Read Jeremiah 29 to get the entire context of this portion of scripture and ask God to point out what He has for you to learn from it. Jeremiah is talking to people in exile who needed to hear from one of God’s prophets.
Glory in tribulation
This is not referring to the Great Tribulation. This is something that saints experience in life that can be troubling, afflicting, persecutions and other things that are descriptive of tribulation. I will not magnify what a tribulation is but the word glory is my choice of emphasis. I emphasize this because this is something that we should do. Do not stop glorifying God when you are during suffering persecution, affliction or having problems. Know this, your problem will not go away when you magnify it. It will become bigger and bigger in your eyes. God is to be magnified!
Stand
We should declare the scriptures to ourselves. I cannot emphasize this enough. Now I am not saying deny your reality, but do not wallow in sorrow because of it. There are attempts sent into our lives to sidetrack us from being successful in this season of life. With intensity, whatever enemy you are currently facing will through dart after dart at you. But remember what Ephesians 6:16 says, take up your shield of faith. The words above all are listed in the armor of God. We need a shield, a sword, a helmet, a belt, a breastplate and to keep our feet shod. Do not forget about the whole armor of God.
For a long time there was a very popular song called “Stand”. If you were going through it when this song was played you may have broken down and cried because you could relate to it.
