Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done

Godffirmation: godly confirmation and godly affirmation based on the scriptures

Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done.  On earth as it is in heaven.

 Matthew 6:10

THY KINGDOM COME

When we pray, do not glaze over this part of the “Lord’s Prayer”.  There is a desire to have God’s kingdom involved in our lives.  Think about the movies you have watched that involved a kingdom.  There was a King, a prince or princess, a Queen, advisers, and there were servants.  You get the picture.  Remember what the king did to Daniel, he issued a decree that sent Daniel into the lions den.  But as the story goes, the lions did not harm Daniel and then Darius the king punished those who suggested the decree.

Look up the biblical definition of kingdom to get a clearer picture if you are still unsure.

What is the Kingdom of God?  Based on scriptures here is an answer:

Romans 14:17 - “The kingdom of God is not meat nor drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost”

1.        Righteousness

2.         Peace

3.         Joy

Where is the kingdom of God?

  Luke 17:20-21 – within you

THY WILL BE DONE

What is His will concerning you?

1st Thessalonians 5:18

Sometimes people wonder what God’s will is for them.    If we are submitted to Him and following His statutes in the bible our transformation can prove His will!

God’s Will is:

  • Good

  • Perfect

  • Acceptable

Romans 12:2
