It’s that time of year again where we hear slogans about new things. Over and over we see or hear, new year, new me! But sometimes, that backdrop or strategic plan to use to become the God-intended you escapes us. One thing I recommend is that you check the bible for scriptures that align with your path. Here are a few:
Proverbs 16:9 - A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.
Psalm 33:10-11
Jeremiah 10:23
Psalm 37:23-24
Proverbs 19:21
Isaiah 46:9-10
Job 23:13-14
Feel free to look these bible verses up and use them in your quiet time with Jesus.

Although we make plans, be reminded that God is in control. God is an architecht and He can download a plan for you to carry out. That is what I estimate from some of the bible verses about plans. God wants us to know that He cares about our plans. He allowed one of his old testament prophets to encourage the children of Israel while they were captives, that He knew the plans that He has for them. If God knew their plans, isn’t it possible that He knows the plans for us that give a future and a hope? We have to let God’s plan prevail. He has the best plan of all!
You are never to old to remember that God has a plan for you and your life.
In this book, there are lessons and teachings to help your journey through life.
The book of Proverbs is in the Old Testament. There are 31 chapters and a chapter can be read throughout the month, one chapter per day.
Have you ever wondered what God can do? Allow God to do what seems impossible by man’s standards. There are things that are impossible with man, but with God ALL things are possible. Consider Him when you make your plans. Weekly, monthly and daily planners are created in abundance. A tool like a planner can help guide and organize your day. The organization skillset through a planner can help you create a life that God wants to lead.
AFFIRMATION: I make plans and obey God throughout them. I consider Him during my plan making moments. I believe God will guide me through. I have the patience to follow through with the God-given plans in obedience.
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for your word. You confirm that I need you in my life. Your guidance and direction have established my plans. You do not make any mistakes, I agree with your plan and walk in purpose with the beat of your holy drum.
