PART THREE
A breastplate covers your upper body and vital organs like your heart and lungs. Your upper body has the organs that help you breathe and are the source of circulation. Poor circulation and breathing problems lead to a host of medical issues and sometimes require surgeries to repair the health problems. Spiritually speaking, some people are walking around with an oxygen tank and they need a stent inserted to help with circulation. Some are on medication and are still feeding themselves with high cholesterol causing foods that are leading to poor health. So you see, the breastplate of righteousness is very important!
Living life without realizing we are the righteousness of Christ can cause damage. Remember we reap what we have sown. Just because we serve the Lord does not mean that we will not face a consequence of bad behaviour. A daily dose of the word of God and application of God’s word is what helps us, live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28). ). So what is righteousness? Righteousness is being right in the eyes of God.
Righteous: Purity of heart and rectitude of life; conformity of heart to the divine law.
Man by himself is not righteous, scripture shows us:
Romans 3:10
Jeremiah 23:6
Jehovah Tsidkenu - The Lord our Righteousness

Ask God to show you areas you may have overlooked
Read the scriptures above in context to find out how it applies to you
We need God in order to be just and right. Why go another day without the breastplate of righteousness? Make it a point to wear it as a part of your daily attire.
