Careful for Nothing
Godffirmation is a God blog and God brand giving affirmation with confirmation based on the scriptures.
Verse of the Day
Phillipians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Water faucets have hot and cold water discharge based on the switch that you use. If you intended to use the hot knob, it may have a red dot to indicate what it represents. Likewise, the cold knob has a blue dot to tell the user the water will be cold. Some spouts only need a wave to start releasing water. Even these have a hot and cold indicator. The temperature is regulated by another source, the hot water tank. It is something that we use everyday without thinking, because we just expect it to work.
If the faucet does not work, who do we call? A plumber is the qualified person, but with this job description it has to be specific to the task at hand. There are multiple parts to allow a water faucet to work. You need a sink to hold the discharge or a drain. You need a hot water tank that heats water for dishes, baths, showers and other needs. There are valves under sinks that can turn the water on or off in the kitchen. If this is not released, you can turn on the switch but water will not come out of the faucet. (How long is she going to write about water and faucets? Ha Ha)
You need all of the parts for certain things to work. If the parts are not in working order, there is going to be a problem. This idea works for prayer and life as a Christian. It is time to accelerate! One of the definitions for accelerate is increase. There are other synonyms for it like these:
Multiply
Accumulate
Build Up
Swell
Burgeon
Rise
Spread
The definition for speed or move faster is usually the first thought for accelerate.
It feels like things may be slowing down physically and in the natural. This is not the case. Things are accelerating! You are rising to the occasion in ways you never imagined. Rise up and swell; this is the time that you gain what you need for your next. You will be able to release it in the next season. It is not a ‘taxing’ season like you once thought. If you did not understand the times or season you began to ask God, who, what, why, where, how and when. Do it again, seek Him and ask for his help. God is willing and able. He is capable to enable you and not overwhelm you. Be grateful for that and consider Him the answer to you hidden problem and questions.
God is a prayer away. Sometimes our inconsistency in seeking Him is the hinderance. He wants to map out your daily life. Although He does not give us all of the details, there are lessons and blessings in our days. Be specific in your requests, you might be surprised with the answer! In Philippians 4:7, there is an answer. Peace is your guardian with the right thinking. The apostle tells you what type of thoughts you should have. Ask God again!
When the overflow comes like rivers of living water, do not say I did not warn you (John 7:38).
THOUGHTS TO FOCUS ON:
Pure
Honest
True
Virtuous
Praiseworthy
Lovely
Good reports
Declaration: I have pure and honest thinking patterns. My thoughts rest in the truth of God’s word.
This is going to take effort. Thinking patterns and mindset changes develop from our habits. How we think can create behavior patterns. Our behavior comes from our inner man. Behavior is an outward expression of what is on our mind.
ANXIOUS EXPERIENCES
Have you been experiencing anxiety? The definition is an uneasy feeling of uncertainty, fear, agitation or dread. This word encompasses a lot of things. You may not have considered that the source of this feeling is not God. Based on the definition I pray that that is clear to you. It is our reaction to stressful circumstances. Care or thought is also a biblical based definition for anxious or anxiety. Repeat after me, I take no thought for tomorrow, it will take care of itself. I am not anxious about anything.
