Free and Loosed

Godffirmation: God brand and God-blog offering affirmation & confirmation based on the scriptures

You are free to go. You can leave on your own accord. You have been set free. If I was told any of those short sentences, I would run with joy and gladness from whatever had me bound. Imagine being in prison, the doors open and you hear these words. What would you do? You would probably high tail it out of the jail!

chain

Block Chain

Chains are linked together and difficult to get out of without help. You need a key to unlock them so it can be removed from your neck, wrist or ankle. Sometimes a chain is so familiar to us that when it is taken off of us, we still move like it is attached to us.

Being shackled by a link chain limits your ability to move fully. It may make a loud noise when you do move because the metal may drag across the floor when you walk. It is difficult to hide the chain and the chains are heavy enough to weigh you down. It is not easy walking around with chains.

key

I want to remind you that locks do have keys!

Don’t forget that we have the creator of all things and He holds the answer to everything. You have a key to unlock the door to your home. Some have a key to unlock an office door or a safe. Whatever the key is for, it can unlock something giving you access to what is behind the door.

ACCESS GRANTED! YOU HAVE THE KEY TO UNLOCK THAT DOOR.

You are free and what was locked up is loosed. Free means to set at liberty, rescue or release from slavery or captivity. Didn’t Jesus lead captivity captive and give gifts unto men? You do not have to wait for freedom, you must maintain it. Your knowledge of this can keep you. Your ability to walk in this will help you live in freedom.

Here are some scriptures that talk about freedom or being free in Christ:

  1. Galatians 5;1

  2. Galatians 5:13

  3. 2nd Corinthians 3:7

  4. 1st Peter 3:16

  5. John 8:36

  6. James 1:25

  7. Romans 6:22

  8. John 8:32

Remind yourself of your freedom. Use the scripture to take thoughts of bondage captive. Tell yourself, you have been made free!

Affirmation: I am free and liberated because of Jesus. I walk free from bondage and I hold on to God’s unchanging hand.
